Alexander McQueen Insignia Envelope Card Holder in Peony Pink Grainy Calfskin - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Alexander McQueen 'Insignia' Envelope Card Holder in Peony Pink Grainy Calfskin with Silver Hardware  

Unused but not perfect, this useful, envelope card or coin purse is crafted from a rich, pink, grainy and robust, firm and pebbly hide.

Lined in a marly, charcoal black, soft calfskin, the shiny Silver plaque stands out beautifully.

Details -

Stored unused since purchase, there is, what appears to be a tiny black 'dot' to the upper RH side curve of the piece, on the stitching. Very small and not immediately noticable, this is, infact, a black cotton 'stitch' picked up from the underside, (where the cotton is black to match the lining) and showing on the top of the flap.

A pinky smudge to the interior calfskin lining, as shown in the close up photos above. Again, very hard to see without the closest of inspections, both of these issues were created during construction, and present at the time of purchase.

The reason for the * rating is due to the small area of surface loss to the interior calfskin lining on the inner LH side crease. The top layer of the calfskin has rubbed away through contact in storage to reveal a lighter colouration beneath. 

Exterior Pink calfskin, stitching, edging and hardware all pristine.
