Bottega Veneta Parachute Shoulder Bag in Gris Intrecciato with Gunmetal Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Bottega Veneta Parachute Shoulder Bag Hobo in Gris Intrecciato with Matte Gunmetal Hardware 

Inspired by the gathered shape of a parachute, this stunning piece has been hand-crafted in soft Nappa using the trademark Intrecciato (intewoven) technique. 

Acres of space but still light for size, concealed magnetic fasteners secure the top, whilst the wide opening allows easy access and ultimate convenience.

A slightly darker grey shade than the most recent 'Light Grey' (as shown in the Website Capture above), its a beautiful colour that seems to compliment all complexions and is so easy to co-ordinate.

Lined in a thick, velvet nap suede, with a zipped pocket and phone pocket....not forgetting the lovely handbag mirror for those touch-ups on the go, its a bag you'll wonder how you ever did without.

Details -

A beautifully big and blouson hobo, without close inspection it looks in a superb condition throughout.

Slouchy and supple with little structure when its empty, (see photo above), its colour consistent, without any breaks or catches to the intrecciato weave just the usual softening that this finish does so fabulously.

The four, top folded 'gathers' all display light colour rubbing to their surfaces at the curves. Not scuffing or wear so the appearance of these may be improved dramatically by the application of the correct colour Colonill Cream. 

Similarly, there is a little drying to top trim at rear of the bag with creasing to the inner side, as is part of the normal construction of these pieces.

The base corners are well shaped with a few extremely minor surface rubs and ruffling to the sides of the intrecciato strips.

All stitching is strong and the powder coated hardware of the O rings is excellent with only a few, very small, dot scratches to their surface. 

Shoulder straps are naturally soft and comfy, though well shaped and only on close review can you note the darkening to the underside of the top curves, where they have been hand-held. Flex cracks to the inking, (edge sealent) on the inner sides of the straps. Shown in the close up photos above, this doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way and is barely even noticable in use.

The interior suede generally clean with a dark mark to the rear wall of the inside zipped pocket and some blue pen squiggles to the lower RH corner.
