 This is a 100% authentic Chanel 227 Reissue Maxi 2.55 Flap in Black Distressed Patent Leather with with Shiny Silver Mademoiselle Lock and Bijoux Jewellery Chain.

 Crafted from an ultra reflective, liquid gloss, soft and creasy textured patent with super soft, matte calfskin interior, this stunning piece will steal the show! 

The classic Reissue silhouette, (semi structured with the triangular folds to the base and sides) but the patent is so soft and squidgy with an almost padded feel, it brings a whole new dimension of suppleness.

 

Condition - Very Good to Excellent

 

Details

The patent leather is in a fabulous condition. No wear, no issues, all corners perfect, (any white marks or lines that look like cracks or splits are purely light reflections), its perfect throughout.

Nicely puffy quilt, all stitching tight, well shaped, (see standing upright when empty), its a beautifully spongy finish which makes it a dream to carry.

As is common on double flaps, there is a surface impression to the LH side of the inner flap where the zip header rests when the top flap is closed and there are a number of very light fingernail scuffs to the matte hide, as shown in the Gallery above. A part of the nature of this exquisitely soft leather, these look much less visible to the naked eye than the photos make them appear.

Hardware is excellent with light surface scratches to the lower RH side of the front lock plate and semi circular contact friction scratches from the turnlock's motion, (barely visible to the naked eye). The underside of the plate displays very slight contact scratches to the LH side.

Shoulder chain and interior and exterior eyelets similarly excellent.
