Mulberry Del Rey in Black Forest Soft Matte Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Del Rey (medium sized) in Black Forest Soft Matte Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.

Superbly soft, supple & finely grained leather in a lightly sheened, berry bordeaux shade, this wonderfully unstructured & casual bag is an ideal, everyday piece.

Acres of room , its an easy to use, zip-top Boston style with a handy, Postman Lock sealed front flap pocket and pretty, hanging padlock cloche to the side.

This is shorter handled version of the DR, so suitable for hand carry or crook of the arm, (not on the shoulder.)

PS - if you prefer the more upright silhouette you'll need to pop a Felt Liner inside.

Details -

Colour consistent, naturally slouchy and puddlesomely soft, (see photo of her empty), there's very litte wear and without close inspection she looks Excellent.

Protective film in place on underside plates, the Postmans Lock Plate is beautifully bright and shiny displaying only one tiny, pin head sized black dot to the LH side, (no scratches whatsoever).

The very gentlest darkening to the tops of the handles, all inking, (edge sealent) is in place to their undersides and bases and stitching strong throughout.

A slightly paler area on the hide, to the lower, front of the bag, near the base, (location highlighted and then shown with the zoom). Almost completely invisible to the naked eye and just as hard to photograph....you'd never find it unless you knew it was there and even then, its a struggle to see!

A 4cm length of absent inking to the front RH sides' corner curve, again, completely unnoticable and does not affect the use of the piece in any way.

The base corners have a slightly smoother texture to the grain with gentle creasing, extremely minor darkening and a little wear to inking, but the leather is not scuffed or worn.

Domed feet have aquired minor scratches to their apex from being placed down.

Lined in clean, chocolate Mulberry Tree jacquard cotton with a large zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip section. There are two small and very vague, pinkish marks to the lining, as shown. The front pocket is pristine and the top flap lined in soft, gently ruffled, dark chocolate suede.
