This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Large Vintage Reporter Satchel in Chestnut Wexford Leather with Antiqued Brass hardware.

The 'grandaddy' to the Chiltern Satchel, this original Reporter shoulder bag is an absolute Vintage delight.

Crafted from an amazingly characterful, robust 'Wexford' hide, its a deeply burnished and fabulously conkery finish that reminds you of aged Chesterfields and mottled-aged riding saddles.

Whilst its rare for the Nest to sell a vintage piece, there are some bags that are literally un-missable!

Supple, creasy, glossy and utterly gorgeous, this beautiful old Mulberry is a testiment to proper, Mulberry heritage.

Impeccable craftmanship, (the 'Y' embossed on the inner label is the Makers Mark), this incredibly lovely piece is in a superb condition for its age.

No real wear, no marks, scuffs or even visible scratches, the leather is scrumptious.

Slight, age related dryness to the base corner curves.

The wide, leather shoulder strap has a very slight wave in its form from where the buckle has been previously set.

Hardware has a naturally, aged, antiqued finish.

All stitching firm and inking in place.....these pieces were built to last.

Lined in clean, Mulberry Ancient tartan, with one, small mark, just below the Mulberry badge.

33cm wide at the base extending to a maximum width of 41cm reducing to 33cm at the top aperture.

Height is 31cm x 10cm deep

Attached Shoulder strap has an adjustable drop from 36cm to 47cm (so not suitable for cross body wear unless you are under 5 feet)
