This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Small Bayswater Satchel in Oak Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

The classically styled Small Bayswater Satchel (SBS) was the second incarnation of Mulberrys baby-bayswater. The first was the Ledbury which was made without a shoulder strap, then the SBS was born and it continued to share all the wonderful, heritage charm and features of its larger namesake, but with the addition of the long strap that attached at each side and allowed you to wear on the shoulder or cross body. (A reincarnation or two later and Mulberry have now introduced the Soft Small Bayswater which shares the same dimensions but the strap now clips on to two D rings at the back.)

The classic version is curvy and rounded, slightly taller than the current model and hangs perfectly however you carry.

Crafted from Mulberry's finest NVT in the beautiful, original oak shade, the leather is undoubtedly superior, in terms of character, to any of the more recent hides.

Details -

A beautifully thick and robust leather, it smells delicious, its in a superb condition throughout with protective film on all lockplates. 

The leather is utterly divine! There are few very light fingernail scuffs and gentle burnishing which form an inherent feature of use and aging, as happens with use. These will continually develop and blend with time and a gradual deepening in tone and gentle patina will follow bringing the promise of an incredibly characterful finish with time and care.

No wear whatsoever, (please note the light pressure indentations to the top flap, caused by the handle inserts as is commonly found on this model,) all stitching is firm and inking (edge sealent) entirely in place.

Top handles are firm and well shaped and the long, detachable shoulder strap excellent.

The only wear is to the interior curves of the long strap's end hooks and the sides of the turnlock.

Clean, self lined suede interior with a side zipped pocket.
