A customer’s flight of fancy sometimes results in a piece that becomes essential to the Hermès collections. In 1927, a daring customer looking for a belt to accessorize her outfits was especially drawn to our dog collar. The request inspired the house to create a belt decorated with four-faceted Médor studs and adorned with a ring. Condition -  Very Good to Excellent

 

 Details -

The leather is excellent throughout. Colour consistent and vibrant with natural creases as is part of the make-up of the hide.

Clean, smooth underside and all edging perfect.

The gold plated Medor pyramid studs are bright and shiny and the central plaque (with hinged ring), retains its protective film so there are no marks from the movement of the ring on either side.

A few hairline scratches and a few contact rubs to the middle and end area of the adjustable closure, as shown in detail in the zoomed photos above.
