 This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Vintage Blenheim Vintage in Black Antique Glace Leather with Bronze Hardware. 

The original, baby Roxanne, crafted from a fabulously thick, glossy and ultra robust Antique Glace hide, (Darwin leather that has been heat treated to give it a delightful, crackly, oil-on-water sheen.)

Compact but large enough for everyday, it's an ergonomic shoulder bag with two useful front pockets and the two top flaps go over one another to seal with a strap and self locating popper.

Details -

Though its rare for the Nest to sell a Well Used piece, there are some bags, (Mulberry in particular), that still make you swoon, no matter their age or wear.

This beautiful Blenheim from 2005 is the perfect example of a Mulberry made to last.

Carried extensively, its a sturdy design in a wonderfully thick and stiff leather so its not softened or slouchy, retaining a solid feel and boxy look with a nice 'waist' when viewed from the rear.

Stitching all tight and an even pearlisation to the glaze..... its an incredibly beautiful finish.

Light fingernail scratches, natural striations, curly shoulder strap ends and wavy pocket flaps.... its everything you'd expect from a craftsman made piece.

The inking, (edge sealent) is dry and worn throughout and there are linear 'sit' marks to each side of the shoulder strap where the buckle has been set.

Hardware is generally good, with a strip of finish loss to the buckle barrels centres from contact with prongs and some surface scratching to the bronze finish rivets, visible only on close inspection.

The interior is self lined suede and shows lots of ruffling, marking and age related discolouration.

Made in Turkey and as is common on pieces made during this era, there is no serial number to the reverse of the disc.

PS - A hugely lovelier bag in the flesh that the above makes her sound!
