This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater in Mole Grey Sparkle Tweed Leather with Dark Shiny Silver Nickel Hardware.

Something of a rather special finish, 'Sparkle Tweed' is a subtly glittery, gloriously grainy & creasy calfskin hide.

A texture like traditional, linear woven tweed with a gentle glaze, (perfect in the rain!) and pretty metallic tonal sparkle, you can see immediately why it was received as rather 'WoW' piece when released.

After many years of use & care, this fabulous Bayswater has most definitely stood the test of time......even if it can no longer stand!!!!

  Condition - Well Used

Details -

An elephant grey shade, its entirely colour consistent. No scratches or scuffs to the leather and even without visible wear to any of the four corner curves, just the slightest mattification.

A light semi-circular surface impression to the rear of the bag where its laid on the shoulder strap in storage, (this will lift with use).

A piece now softened to the point of puddlesome-ness, the leather's wonderfully dense and rubbery so completely collapses under itself when empty.

Extra creasy side panels, (one more textured than the other), the shoulder straps are super softened the top flap fabulously floppy with the inevitable, horizontal dip along the top. You'll need to add in a thick, felt Liner if you want the body of the bag to stand upright, but the flap undulation isn't remediable.

All stitching firm and inking (edge sealent) in place, though dry in areas such as handle bases and side gussets with tiny flex crackles to small sections along the top aperture.

Shoulder straps are super-comfy to wear as so soft and unstructed. Inner edge inking in place and there is no darkening, drying or detriment.

Light scratching to the dark, silver hardware on the Postmans Lock Plate, contact rubbing around the perimeter of the underside plate and scratches to the apex of the base feet. No flaking or finish loss.

The interior is self lined in a charcoal, soft suede displaying general use, ruffling and a few, blue pen marks to the rear wall, as shown.
