This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Alexa Oversized Satchel in Petrol Silky Snake Printed Leather with Feature Gold Tone Postman's Lock Plate.

The largest of the classic Alexa's this fabulous Mulberry is crafted from a teal toned calfskin in an amazingly tactile and distinctive finish.

A texture that relaxes and defines with time and use, each individually hand carved snake scale is meticulously cut creating an intricate Anaconda effect that gives these pieces so much depth and character.

Completed by a stunning, feature snake textured lockplate, you carry by hand, on the shoulder or comfortably cross body, (even if you're tall!)

Details -

Carried lightly the silhouette is still very upright and stiff, (though this will relax quickly with use).

The long detachable shoulder strap has never been used.

Please note, the Condition Rating reflects only the inherent nature of this finish, (not age or use) and the price reflects the delicacy of the leather type. This hide immediately shows dimension from construction and due to its nature, the scales will curl slightly at the edges with the natural movement of the bag as soon as handled. This is a characteristic of the material type and not a fault.

There are numerous, gently lifting scales over the surface of the bag, which shows as lighter tones beneath the surface of the scale edges, and some small, light scratches (all shown in the Photo Collage last photo above). One, small missing scale edge on the rear, RH lower side of the bag and a lifted profile to the lower LH side, (as indicated in the Gallery photo). None are particularly noticable as blends with the overall texture and will form a uniform characteristic of the bag as it ages.

The base's corner piping displays very light surface scuffing and colour loss, which appears as a lighter tone.

The plait top handle is firm, inking (edge sealant) is in place with some lifted scale edges to the plait top RH side, as shown.

The feature postmans lock plate is As New.

There's light contact marks to the underside of the plates and minor scratching to the metal clad strap tip ends. No finish loss, oxidisation or tarnish.

The interior is lined in entirely clean, black Mulberry Tree repeat fabric with a leather trimmed slip section, zipped pocket and suede lined top flap.
