This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Bayswater Smaller Sized Buckle Bag in Oak Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.

 Made in England with all the heritage charm of the classic Bayswater, this smaller, hand held version features side buckle detailing, giving the attractive trapezoid shape. 

Super sturdy, its a power-house of a piece carrying weight with ease and with a wide aperture for easy access, its perfect for everyday.

A capacity between the SBS and the full sized Bayswater its crafted from a thick yet supple, densely grained, dark oak NVT hide.

A proper 'tobacco' tone, there's plenty of patina, oodles of character and a finish that will just get better and better with time and use.

Details -

The perfect balance between angular and curvy, its gently softened and the front handle will flop downwards when not held.

The top flap has a natural horizontal 'dip' as is part of these pieces construction and there are the commonly seen light surface impressions to the hide where the rear handle base interts have rested.

No wear to the corners or curves, the reason for the Condition Rating and * notation is due to the all over patina caused by rain spotting which creates a slightly mottled appearance. Minor and not unattractive, over time this will blend and form the beautiful NVT character of this original hide.

Protective plastic in place on side buckles, pins, underside plates and rear of the serial numbered disc. There is 'crazing' and surface scratches to the surface of the disc, see zoomed photo above.

The Postmans Lock Plate is pristine and base feet display only the lightest scratches to their apex.

A small and vague, round mark to the rear, RH sides' handle base, most likely to be stray inking, (edge sealent) present at the time of purchase.

All stitching firm and inking without wear throughout.

Self lined in raw suede, (this is the natural reverse side of the NVT hide), the interior is entirely clean with a zipped pocket and two slips.
