Mulberry Effie Satchel in Bright Red Spongy Pebbled Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Effie Satchel (regular sized) in Bright Red Spongy Pebbled Leather with Brushed Golden Brass Hardware.

The 'small tree' embossed Effie in a richly saturated red shade, the hide is so soft & squidgy with that fabulous padded texture you get with a really nice Spongy finish. 

A slouchy silhouette, its a relaxed take on the classic flap saddle bag with a simple, self locating magnetic closure and two removable shoulder straps ensuring its easy to use and absolutely effortless to wear.

At first review, this lovely bag looks to be in an Excellent condition.

The embossing to the front Mulberry Tree has become fainter over time but there is little other immediate evidence of use or age.

Nicely softened and squooshy, its all colour consistent, hardware is excellent, and all inking (edge sealent) and stitching, firmly in place.

Only on extremely close inspection can you see two, small round and very shallow, surface scuffs to the lower, LH front. Locations shown and highlighted in the quad collage and both scuffs then shown separately with the zoom. To the naked eye they are barely there.

A little darkening to the leather side loops that attach the D rings, from contact with the strap clip ends.

The shoulder strap is Excellent and the plait feature strap similarly Very Good with just the minutest, flex crackles to the inking on the side edges, (almost invisible to the naked eye).

Two, very small rubs to the joins at the seams at each top edge of the bag, (under where the flap rests, so not visible in use). Shown in close up in the Gallery above, these are much less noticable than the photo's make them appear.

Lined in entirely clean, beige cotton Mulberry tree jacquard fabric with a zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket. There has been a professional repair to the RH side seam of the lining, (as a small section of stitching came undone), but you'd never know, as has been restored perfectly.

The top flap is lined in clean, bright red suede with gentle ruffling to the pile.
