 This is a 100% authentic Saint Laurent YSL Niki Baby Mini in Black Matelassé Crumpled Vernice Vintage Calfskin with Antiqued Silver Hardware.

 Crafted from a glossy, distressed crinkled patent with leather clad YSL plaque, the Baby Niki is supple, unstructured.... but so strong and robust.

Light to wear, easy to use and marvelously impervious to the British climate its surprisingly roomy for a Mini with front compartment, slip pocket to the main section and a handy rear pocket with concealed magnetic fastener.

Superb condition, the only evidence of use is the contact scratches to the front embossed popper, (nowhere near as visible as the zoomed photo makes it appear).

The leather is perfect throughout, no wear or issues, hardware pristine and all stitching tight.

The interior lined in clean, hardy, black grossgrain cotton.

The reason for the * condition notation is entirely due to the construction of the piece. As the YSL front plaque is clad in the same, veiny textured, distressed hide as the bag, the finish has a creased look which is amplified by the flat surface of the metal. Shown in close up detail in the Gallery above, the surface is not scuffed or damaged, its an entirely natural feature of the make-up of these pieces.
