This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Del Rey in Ink Blue Sparkle Croc Printed Calfskin with a Shiny Gold Tone Turtle Plaque Lock and Feature Tassle.

An amazing, multi tonal, iridescent, dark midnight blue leather....supple and unstructured, with each hand carved scale creating this heavenly finish.

Produced in limited numbers these pieces have become highly sought after. Priced sensibly at the Nest, its an utterly stunning bag!

Details -

The finish is fabulous.  A deep, dark navy tone, with subtle sparkly glints lifting the colour and bringing the amazing, iridescent, butterflies-wing sheen through. Hard to actually capture its full beauty, it really is the most glorious effect.

Colour consistent, nicely supple and bordering on slouchy (see photo when empty), its been used and enjoyed and is just at that stage where the leathers softened but displays no immediately visible wear.

Corners are ever so slightly smoothed, top handles are firm and well shaped with inking (edge sealent) intact and stitching in place throughout.

There is wear to the inking at the sides of the oval shaped, leather, zip pull and a small section along the front, top edge of the bag, (just below the zip's fabric). Barely visible to the naked eye and shown with the zoom in the Gallery above.

The turtle lockplate is perfect and turnlock immaculate. There is friction rubbing between the underside plates from contact.

Slight paling and minor scratching to the upper curve of the spring loaded tassle's padlock.

A rich leather aroma, there's a useful front section with black suede lined interior flap displaying a series of dot flattenings to the pile, (where it rests on the seam of the pocket).

Lined in entirely clean, black Mulberry Tree repeat fabric with a side zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.

There is a 16mm long rub to the interior, top seam of the fabric lining, just below the zip, as shown. The material is lightly frayed however it does not affect the smooth running of the zip header or the use of the piece in any way.
