Mulberry Tassel Alexa Oversized Satchel in Ink Blue Suede with Shiny Gold Hardware -SOLD

This is an unused, 100% authentic Mulberry Tassel Alexa Oversized Satchel in Ink Blue Heavy Suede with Shiny Gold Tone Hardware.

A super soft and slouchy Lexy, crafted from a luxuriously dense, fine-nap suede with a texture like velvet.

Adorned with edgy. mini conical faceted rivets, the pretty front bow with tassles is the finishing flourish.

This is how Mulberry's creative director at the time of creation described the Tassel collection, "The Tassel collection came about after seeing gorgeous Mulberry girls at festivals, bags slung over their shoulders, not afraid of a bit of English mud. It reminded me of the image of laid-back Seventies festivals, fringing, tassels — the works!" Emma Hill.

Details -

Just stored since purchase, Mulberry tag remains attached, there are gentle creases to the form and a little wave to the top plait handle, though these will even quickly with use.

Entirely colour consistent, (suede is a nightmare to photograph as the pile brushes different ways, looking ruffled, worn and marked... where as to the naked eye its beautiful!). The top flap has a naturally, slightly more mottled appearance than the remainder of the bag though this blends entirely with the character of the suede finish.

As is occassionally seen on suede pieces, there is a thin, linear vein-like scratch* within the hide on the front, upper RH side of the flap. A dot mark to the surface of the hide, just below this and a small, vague round mark to the lower RH of this (see zoomed photos above). Present from purchase, they are much less visble to the naked eye and the imperfection in the hide does not affect the use of the bag in any way.

Light fricton scratches to the underside of the pushlock, the two metal clad satchel strap tip ends have acquired scratches from storage and there are contact markings to the two self locating poppers bases on the front of the bag.

The craftsman appears to have had a bit of a mad moment when he was firing in the rivets and has managed to insert one upside down! Location highlighted and shown close up, you'd never notice it unless expressly pointed out but under magnification has a flatter profile than the rest of the studs.

All stitching tight and inking, (edge sealent) in place.

The top flap is lined in thick suede and the interior in midnight blue, Mulberry tree jacquard fabric with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.

The detachable cross the body strap is adjustable with a drop from 45cm to 54cm & the top handle is 6cm.
