 This is a 100% authentic Chanel Classic GST Grand Shopper Tote in Black Caviar with Shiny Gold Hardware. 

Still the Grandest of all the classic Chanel totes, the GST may be discontinued but its Timeless appeal makes it one of the most desirable designs to this day.

Simple, semi-structured elegance with three roomy, internal compartments, its the ideal shoulder bag for work or play....and even better, this is not a Chanel you'll ever need to baby!

Details -

 Nicely softened with squidgy sides and lower creases, the corners are gently smoothed with only light wear and there is just one, vertical surface scratch to the lower half of the RH side of the base, (invisible unless you angle to view). 

Upper corners points at the top aperture are without wear, as is the rear pocket edging...its a testiment to the incredibly hardiness of Caviar that this bag has been carried many, many times and yet its still beautiful.

The hide is colour consistent, glossy with a good 'spring' to the touch and though the quilt stitching isn't as smooth as when new, its all in place and strong.

A really beautiful, rich yellow tone to the Gold hardware, it remains bright and shiny with surface scratches to the embossed O rings where it contacts with the shoulder chain strap and dulling to the interior edges only.

Surface finish paling and loss, (due to friction), to the middle, zip section's embossed zip pull, around the top hole, (as shown with the zoom). There are surface scratches and slight dulling to the side pockets zip pull also.

The chain and leather shoulder strap is very good, without undue creasing to the comfort pads or wear.

The interior is fully lined in a thick, black sateen displaying general use throughout. No detriment, marks or staining, just the general dulling to the fabric's sheen and ageing that comes with use.
