This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Belle Shoulder Pochette in Oak Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with antiqued brass hardware.

A neat, compact & curvy, (dare I say chubby) little flap bag crafted from a characterful, original NVT hide.

An ideal capacity for the everyday basics or a roomy evening bag with handy pocket to the front, beneath the flap.

Wear on the shoulder or detach the strap to carry as a clutch, you can even add in a messenger strap as looks great cross body too, (not included in the sale.)

Details -

At first review it looks fabulous! Proper old-school Mulberry in the most gloriously thick and aroma-full NVT. No wear to the curves or corners, the leather has a beautiful grain and is just developing that lovely patina that a nice vegetable tanned hide will acquire with use.

Well shaped, its only gently softened with slightly fluffy stitching, though all strong and in place throughout.

The antiqued finish hardware is very good with just surface scratches to each side of the turnlock.

The shoulder strap's leather is very good, however, as is often found on pieces of this age, the inking, (edge sealent) has softened and is prone to impressions, rubbing and a little stickiness. A small area of impressions and one rub, this is likely to increase with use. Shown in the Gallery above, it is recommended that the strap should be re-inked to prevent deterioration.

Natural flex crackles to the inking at the back of the flap edges and darkening to the loops holding the D rings at each side of the bag.

The interior is self lined in entirely clean, ruffled suede.
