This is a 100% authentic Mulberry smaller sized Jamie in Oxblood Washed Calf Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.

 One of the most practical and beautiful designs of recent years, the Jamie is inspired by the vintage ‘bucket bags’ from the 1970s archives.

A contemporary twist on a much-loved silhouette with a firm, paneled base, you can wear the strap long (attached to the top rings) or thread through from the base rings to create a shorter, shoulder drop.

Cool, casual and classy the main body is crafted from a thick but supple, gloriously grainy and fabulously textured hide trimmed by smooth, finely grain calfskin.

A secure zipped top and just the right amount of space for everyday, its a bag you'll never need to baby and will continue to become even lovelier as it ages.

 Details -

A beautiful hide with lots of natural striations and a deep, characterful grain, it's nicely softened with a gentle slouchiness to the main body. (The firm base ensures rigidity of form though, so no saggy bottom!)

The washed calfskin is all excellent throughout. Colour consistent and entirely without issue.

However, as is inevitable with use the smooth trims acquire numerous scuffs, scratches and surface impressions througout. All shown in the Gallery above....to the naked eye these are much less noticable.

There is a tiny tear to one of the shoulder strap's two 'push through' hole ends that the staff sits into, (see zoomed photo above). This doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way.

A few scratches to the RH side of the embossed oval, front Mulberry Plaque, the chunky zip pull is excellent to both sides.

The two O rings at the top, sides of the bag both display scratching, crazing and finish loss. Only visible on close inspection, there is textural change but no flaking, tarnish or oxidisation.

Scratches to the two D rings at the base of the bag from contact with the shoulder strap clips. 

Lined in clean beige cotton marl with one very small, dark mark as shown. There is a zip pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.
