Mulberry Braided Woven Trim Regular Alexa Satchel in Berry Calf Nappa with Shiny Gold Hardware - SOLD

This is an unused, 100% authentic Mulberry Regular Sized Braided 'Woven Trim' Alexa Satchel in Berry Small Grain Calf Nappa with Shiny Goldtone Hardware.

A beautiful, rich burgundy/ forest fruits shade in the most wonderfully soft and supple hide decorated with a pretty woven braid, its a delight to the senses.

From one of Emma Hills (Mulberry's ex creative director) loveliest collections she described it like this.... "This collection came about after seeing gorgeous Mulberry girls at festivals, bags slung over their shoulders, not afraid of a bit of English mud. It reminded me of the image of laid-back Seventies festivals, fringing, tassels — the works!"

Details -

Only strored and admired since purchase, original protective film in place on all hardware excepting the underside of the Postmans Lock Plate which displays very light contact scratches. The film is coming away from the two, metal clad strap tip ends though no scratches are present.

Friction related scratches to the turnlock's sides as shown in the close up photo above, purely from being adoringly handled by its owner, but never carried.

A soft and supple silhouette, (see photo when empty), you'll need to add in a Felt Liner if you prefer a less slouchy profile, its entirely colour consistent and all inking, (edge sealent) and stitching is firmly in place. 

Two, very vague, light colour rubs to the middle of the plaited top handle, a twin dark spot to the RH side of the base's braid trim and light surface scuff to the front, RH side's braid corner curve, (not wear). All shown in detail in the Gallery above.

The shoulder strap has only been removed from original packaging for review and a small cluster of surface imperfections can be noted to the underside. Present from construction and shown with the zoom above, they are barely visible to the naked eye and do not affect the use of the piece in any way.

The interior is lined in chocolate Mulberry tree repeat fabric with a side zipped security pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket.

The top of the flap is lined in clean, deep plum suede with natural ruffling to the pile where it rests over the rear aperture.
