Perfect for work or play, this large zipped Bays is crafted in a pretty, antique-rose shade. Gentle taupe undertones, the hide is evenly grained & the silhouette firm with just the right amount of 'give' so that it's not too rigid or hard sided.

 Sadly now no longer available from Mulberry direct in the larger size, this is how Mulberry described their masterpiece. "The Bayswater is our most iconic bag, and its eponymous collection includes new styles inspired by the original. The Zipped Bayswater is the perfect option for those who like a zipped closure. Using the same construction as a Bayswater, this new style plays with the detail – deconstructing the front by removing the flap and using the iconic postman's lock to secure two belted straps. "

Details -

Without close inspection this lovely piece looks nearly new.

Colour consistent and without any immediately visible wear, there are natural triangular surface impressions to the hide on the front and rear, top outer aperture, caused by the rear handle bases, (as is part of the normal formation of this design.)

A gentle, diagonal crease to the rear, lower RH side of the bag and an extremely vague (almost invisible to the naked eye), smatter of stray inking (edge sealent) to the surface of the hide on the RH side of the RH side panel.  Both locations highlighted and also shown close-up in the quad picture above.

Self lined in clean, soft peachy toned suede there are two small areas of stray inking, (edge sealent) as present from construction. One to the RH side of the slip pocket seam and another to the base RH side. This latter area appears to have been rubbed to attempt to remove the spots which has ruffled and discoloured the pile a little.

Some very light surface scratches to the top of the shoulder straps from a claw-set ring, this is shown in close up and with the zoom. To the naked eye this is barely there.
