Mulberry Small Coca Bayswater Satchel in Black Smooth Calf with Studs - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Small Coca 'Studded' Bayswater Satchel in Black Smooth Calf with Brushed Silvertone Hardware.

A contemporary trapezoid shape & adorned with low profile, dome studs, this Coca SBS has a fabulous, edgy, deconstructed feel.

Crafted from a thick, sturdy yet pliable hide with a gentle sheen that repels rain with ease.... its a bag you won't need to baby.

Carry by the top handles or wear on the shoulder (strap is a little short for xbody wear), its fully lined in deep nap suede with a slip and zipped pocket.

Details -

Colour consistent, gently softened with natural surface creases to the hide on the trapezoid sides, there is no wear or rubbing to the base corners or curves. All stitching tight, inking (edge sealent) intact without cracks and shoulder strap excellent. Top handles are well shaped, stand upright without flopping down and the hardware is excellent with only light surface scratches to the studs.

A Mulberry you can truly use without worry, the leather displays surface scratches and scuffs galore however none seem to detract from the attractiveness of the piece! An area to the upper LH side of the front, (see location highlighted), that only appears if view straight-on and if the light catches it in a certain way, lots of fingernail scratches to the middle and lower front panel,  a few to the sides and base and the commonly seen impressions to the top flap from the rear handle base inserts are quite pronounced.  

The main issue with this piece is the oval 'bubble' in the hide on the middle top of the flap. When viewing from the top it looks like a blister and is caused when the two layers of hide separate and leave an air gap between the surfaces. Shown in the photos above looking its most prominent, when the piece is in use its much less noticable and does not affect integrity in any way.

Lined in clean, black, ruffled suede with flattening to the pile around the turnlock hole and top handle inlets.

Horizontal scuffing over the internal Mulberry silver embossing, extending along the apertures top, inner seam.
