Mulberry Mabel Medium in Pebble Grey Lightweight Antiqued Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic, Mulberry Mabel in the Medium Size in Pebble Grey Lightweight Antiqued Leather with Soft Gold Hardware.

One of Mulberry's classic (and now vintage) designs the medium sized Mabel is a wonderfully roomy, everyday bag. Most likely next on the list for relaunch, its a beautifully boxy, tri compartment shoulder bag with oodles of lovely Mulberry detailing.

Comprised of three sections....the outer two are lined in a soft sumptious suede and the inner zipped compartment lined in chocolate Mulberry tree fabric.

Light to carry and easy to use with self locating, faux buckle strap closure and secure zip top, there are also two, full depth mini zipped pockets to the front, perfect for bits and bobs on the go.

A supple silhouette in a taupe-grey shade, its crafted from a very smooth, treated Italian hide named 'Light Weight Antiqued'. A very distinctive finish the leather has a light wax coating applied which gives it a beautifully sheened, marbled look which becomes more and more characterful with use. Purposefully designed to acquire surface scratches, these increase from new and then blend with time and use to give a glorously distressed finish.

Condition - Excellent

Details -

No immediate evidence of use, its still relatively stiff and upright and is entirely without wear. Squidgy corner curves and lots of natural surface scratches to the LWA leather.....this is a perfectly natural feature of the hide.

Some waviness to the wide, flat shoulder straps from storage, a mild diagonal crease to the rear LH inner side of the rear strap and a small, semi-circular dot of stray inking, (edge sealent to the front, RH side's handle loop base, present from construction.

Stitching all tight and inking in place, there is a little, age-related adhesive discolouration to the inner edge seams of the two, suede pockets where the glue used by the crafstman in construction has yellowed. (see close up photos above). Completely unnoticable in use.

Hardware excellent throughout and the hanging luggage tag insert is clean and unwritten upon. A useful slip pocket to the rear of the tag.....great for a travel pass!

Lined in pristine, chocolate, Mulberry jacquard tree cotton with zipped pocket to the central section and soft, fine nap stone-toned suede to the two outer sections.
