This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Marais PM Bucket Bag in Monogram Canvas with Vachette Calfskin Trims.

A simple, neat and compact, open top bucket bag from 2001, its a classic style that will never date.

Adjustable top handles that can be worn on the shoulder, an internal zip pocket, leather trimmed slip pocket and handy, long key clip chain.

Details - 

At first review it appears in a Very Good condition. 

A lovely thick, grainy and robust canvas, there's no wear, no marks, scratches or rubbing to the motifs.

The silhouette is naturally supple but not softened or slouchy thanks to the rigid oval base, so stands nicely when empty.

Stitching all strong and hardware very good, the calfskin vachette is evenly honeyed but not darkened. Just light patina and minor water-spot marking to the shoulder straps, as shown.

'Red' edging to the straps is slightly dry and worn and though they naturally don't stay upright unless held, (due to their length), they are well shaped without creasing or darkening.

The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the cracking to the surface of the calfskin on the two rear straps bottom two holes.  Not a fault, just a natural feature of age and wear and though it looks quite horrific in the zoomed photos above, to the naked eye its barely noticable. Its is only very shallow surface cracking and doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way, however the potential longeivity of this piece has been reflected in the price.

Fully lined in LV's original, wipeable moisture resistant material with zipped pocket and slip pocket. Entirely clean, without wear or flaking, there is a little vertical wrinkling to the rear walls, LH side, just to the RH side of the D ring, as shown.

As is common on these pieces with this type of lining, the piece has a specific aroma. Not unpleasant, 'stored', mildewy or perfumed, just a mild but distinctive, vintage LV aroma.
