This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Somerset Shoulder Tote in Oak Pebbled Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

A super functional member of the Somerset family, this lovely shoulder bag is perfect for everyday. Light to carry compared to capacity, easy to use and incredibly comfy to wear.

Crafted from a soft, smooshily supple and slouchy hide with a gentle sheen, it hangs effortless on the shoulder and moulds to your side in use.

A very slouchy silhouette, (see it collapse into a puddle when empty), these pieces just get better and better with age and use.

A rich tan shade, the hide is creasy and characterful with a deeply pebbled grain and beautiful glaze that shrugs off marks and water with ease.

Firstly, don't let the Condition Categoriation immediately deter you.....without close inspection it looks Excellent!

A naturally very soft hide, there are lots of creases, striations and the characterful suppleness these pieces are renowned for has developed perfectly.

Entirely colour consistent there are no marks, scratches or scuffs to the leather whatsoever. The base corners are unworn, (anything visible in the photos are purely light reflections).

Hardware is excellent, stitching all strong and in place throughout and though the shoulder straps don't sit upright when not held, (a feature of the design, not due to wear), the leather is firm without creasing or darkening.

Its only on close inspection can you note the inking, (edge sealent) cracks* to both sides of the entire length of the shoulder straps. This is the only reason for the Condition Rating. Shown looking its worst in the close up photos above (and significantly less noticable to the naked eye....the Seller hadn't seen the issue at all before sending to the Nest.) Commonly found on these very supple pieces with use, it doesn't affect the use of the bag in any way but has been reflected in the price. Should the Buyer wish to have the inking renewed, I'd be happy to provide recommendations for restoration services.

A useful zipped pocket to the front of the bag, with feature Somerset hanging charm and twist pull.

Lined in clean beige cotton with zipped pocket, the fabric on the LH side base panel displays a small, very vague, oval mark.

The top closes with a securely sealing, self locating popper.
