This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Rivoli PM in Monogram Vachette with Golden Brass Hardware.

 Beautiful pleats and a silhouette which manages to be both angular & curvy at the same time, the shape is softly structured but still supple. Light to carry and a neat size for everyday, there's room for all the basics and more.

Details -

Well shaped, stands nicely upright when empty and the monogram canvas is in a pristine condition throughout.

No scuffs, scratches or rubs to the corner curves, its all entirely structurally sound, hardware is bright and shiny, top handles are firm, stitching strong and all inking (glazing) perfect.

A little patina to the top handles from being hand held and a small scratch, (from a claw set ring), as shown in the close up photos above.

There is some very minor surface patina to the calfskin vachette 'petals' at the handle bases however the main reason for the Condition Rating and the *notation is due to a manufacturing issue relating to the shade of the calfskin vachette.

This piece has been made from two different batches of calfskin leather. One is visibly paler than the other and has been used on different component parts, creating something of a patchwork effect when you inspect closely. The two areas it affects most noticably are the rear top handle, which is pale, whilst the front is more honeyed and the two part shoulder strap where the long section is pale and the shorter sectioned, honeyed. 

Not what you'd excpect from LV at all but sadly even the Premier Design Houses can experience unfortunate issues with craftmanship sometimes. This has been reflected in the resale price.

The interior is lined in clean, damson-burgundy textile with three slip pockets
