Condition -  Very Good

Details -

An exceptionally nicely kept piece, it's perfectly shaped with entirely clean damier azur and though not as bright 'white' as when new, there's no yellowing or sepia tones.

No wear to the canvas, just some light rubbing to the print at the two, front corner curves, (see close up photos above).

Evenly honeyed calfskin vachette, there's no darkening or wear. The top handle is firm and well shaped with clean, uniform underside and all red (edging) in place throughout the piece.

A little patina to the front's vachette tab and the top of the loop that holds the D ring for the Tassle charm, as shown.

Natural splaying to the Tassles of the charm as happens with use, (it gives it a lovely, pretty, frilly look!), the long, detachable shoulder strap is excellent and stitching entirely in place throughout the piece.

Best of all, the owner immediately replaced the lockplate's original plastic film (at the time of purchase), with hardy protective covers so these are completely scratch free! I have only removed for inspection and photos and an additional set for the buyer to affix is included in the sale. 

The interior is lined in clean, Rose Ballerine pink textile with slip pocket. Not as crisp as when new however the only mark is a very small, vague, orange smudge below the Made in France badge.
