Chanel Grand Shopping Tote GST Beige Clair Caviar with Gold Hardware - SOLD

 This is a 100% authentic Chanel Grand Shopping Tote GST Beige Clair Caviar with Shiny Gold Hardware. 

Chanel's larger sized shopper in a beautiful, cool vanilla toned textured caviar, complimented by rich, gold hardware...... A classic design that will never date.

So sadly discontinued, this GST may now be 11 years old but it's becoming increasingly rare to find these pieces in such a good condition.

Previously purchased from HandbagClinic but never carried, (security tag remains attached), it's the ultimate Chanel tote.

Details -

Well shaped, colour consistent and without any immediately visible wear....the piece initially apears in an Excellent condition.

  The very slightest softening to the form with the gentlest creasing just beginning to form to the lower rear sides of the bag. 

All stitching firmly in place, the gleaming gold hardware is excellent with only light, natural contact scratches to the eyelets and O rings

The shoulder straps are superb, almost As New.

Base corner curves are excellent, without smoothing or wear. Its only on the very closest of inspections, if you review from underneath, can you note a small, pale surface rub to the rear LH base, just below the corner.

The main reason for the condition rating is due to the two scuffs to the caviar at the top aperture points of the bag. One to the LH side's corner point and one to the RH side, the surface of the caviar has worn, revealing the matte leather beneath. Both shown in close-up detail in the Gallery above, these are barely noticable to the naked eye, but have, of course, been reflected in the price.

There is a tiny area of yellowed, adhesive residue to the RH side of the top aperture's inner seam, (this is glue used in the construction of the piece). This can be easily removed and restored completely, with a toothpick.

Protective film in place on inner zip pocket's zip pull, the interior is lined in a luxuriously thick, silky, nude toned sateen with key clip, slip pocket, zipped pocket and central zipped compartment. A number of light marks to the two main compartments' lining can be seen.
