Balenciaga Envelope Clutch in Anthracite Lambskin with Giant 21 Rose Gold Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Balenciaga Envelope Clutch in Anthracite Lambskin with Giant 21 Rose Gold Hardware. 

Crafted from a fabulously crinkly-crackly, super soft & creasy vintage ageneu in a beautiful grey shade with petrol blue undertones, this large but not oversized clutch has spaces for everything.

A full depth, zipped pocket to the front, another full depth flap pocket to the top and two, roomy, gusseted compartments inside.

Accompanied by the iconic, leather clad mirror, its a piece at home in the day as it is at night.

Details -

A naturally supple construction, it will hold it's shape empty but slouch beautifully in the hand when held.

Softened further from use, there's no wear to the leather, just the normal, aged texture that give these pieces their amazing character. The close up photos of the corners and curves make the hide appear dry but this is a feature of the natural finish and not scuffing. A single, small and very light surface fingernail scratche to the rear of the bags' lower edge, there's also a little additional creasing to the rear LH corner area, as shown.

Entirely colour consistent throughout, the mirror and bag also remain a perfect colour match and the attaching tassles are excellent.

Stitching all in place and the Rose Gold hardware excellent with the exception of the front pocket's zip teeth which display some age-related discolouration. Not tarnish or finish loss, the zip header runs smoothly and it is less noticable to the naked eye..... however this has been reflected in the price.

Lined in clean, fine weave black cotton.
