Mulberry Large East West Messenger in Khaki Pebbled Leather with Dark Silver Nickel Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry East West Large Messenger in Khaki Pebbled Leather with Shiny Dark Silver Nickel Hardware. 

A seriously roomy, twin section, unisex messenger crafted from a thick, robust, 'Heavy Pebbled' calfskin in a dark olive shade with brown undertones.

Complimented by shiny dark silver hardware its sensible but not sombre, sartorial but still casual and makes an ideal work or travel companion.

Details - 

A superb hide....quality unsurpassed by more recent leathers, the texture is soft, evenly pebbled but with lots of natural striations and creases which give the piece so much character.

A supple silhouette, due to its size it's not lightweight to carry but its mouldability ensures it lies comfortable at your side and the wide, adjustable strap means it can be worn short on the shoulder or long and low, across the body. 

Constisting of a large flap front compartment, sealed via the Postmans lock and a similarly roomy, full depth section to the rear which seals with a self locating popper. A nicely padded construction, so great to protect tech, (though please do check dimensions carefully if buying to accomodate a specific item.)

Colour consistent and without any wear whatsoever, there is just the slightest, natural lightening around the base corner curves.

Three, extremely light scratches to the lower rear of the bag, all shown in the close up photos above.

Detachable and fully adjustable webbed strap is As New.

The front Postmans Lock plate displays a few miniscule hairline scratches to the upper RH side and there is minor, friction related finish loss around the turnlock hole, (barely visible to the naked eye).

The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the crazing to the two underside plates. Though extremely hard to see with the naked eye and in use, if you angle the piece, on close inspection, this appears like the surface of a shattered mirror. It doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way, however has been reflected in the price.

Contact scratches to the self locating poppers, the interior is fully lined in entirely clean, chocolate Mulberry tree jacquard with a zipped pocket and leather trimmed slip pocket to the rear section.

The flap of the front section is self lined in ruffled suede with a small area of flattened marking to the upper LH side, near the edge.

A Mulberry that will last and last and just get better with time and use.
