This is a 100% Authentic Hermés Dip Dye Carre Surteint Silk Twill Square Scarf 90cm in Miel Gold 'Flora Graeca' designed by Niki Goulandris.

The 2017 'Hermésmatic' laundromat event was the ultimate reuse/rewear/recycle Pop Up.

Hermés scarfs (purchased at the event or brought in by customers) were immersed in hand stirred vats of dye resulting in the most incredibly soft, velvety texture & unique colourways.

' Flora Graeca' (Greek Flowers), is a beautiful botanical print and the piece has been  over dyed in a rich, honey-gold shade.

The dying process purposefully reduces the sharp contrasts of the print and delivers a much subtler finish leaving the silk so utterly divine to the touch with a drape you can only achieve with a Surteint.

Condition -  Very Good*

 Details -

A few, small light creases to the fabric, ( the short 'dark' horizontal lines in the photos are tiny creases, not marks).

However, the reason for the Contition Rating and the *notation is due to the five, pale surface marks to the silk. Four of them are very light, (see locations circled). The pale mark on the green printed leaf is more defined. I have not attempted to remove and this has been reflected in the price.

No aroma, pulls, ladders or catches....the remainder of the piece is Excellent.

Plump hand rolled and stitched edging all perfect throughout.
