This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Cara Delevingne Backpack in Oxblood Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather with Shiny Gold Hardware.

 Crafted from Mulberrys finest NVT hide, this medium sized Cara has been used and loved but still has many more years of joy to give.

This is how Mulberry described the Cara - "The Cara Delevingne Bag is a three-in-one style, uniting Mulberry’s English attitude to beautiful practicality and the inimitable personality of British model Cara Delevingne. Designed to take you anywhere, it can be worn on the back, shoulder or carried hand-held. The bags are made in England at Mulberry’s factories in Somerset and this is proudly stamped on the bottom of each bag, inspired by Cara’s own made in England tattoo on the sole of the foot. Cara wanted each bag to be like opening a letter with a lovely surprising touch. Inside you can find a small lion rivet and a heart shaped patch based on Cara’s own heart tattoo. Cara said: “I want there to be hidden gems inside, based on things that are personal to me, which my tattoos definitely are.”

Details -

A strong, robust hide, the form is sturdy but has softened with use, (see photo when empty). The Seller has included a multi pocket, Felt Liner in the sale for added organisation and structure.

A lovely russety-red toned oxblood, there are light surface scuffs and small fingernail scratches, (as is inevitable with this hide), which give a slightly lighter appearance to some areas. Most visibly the middle of the top flap, (see close up photo provided), this would benefit immensely from a quick application Colonnil colour to improve and restore.

The leather at the base corner curves are unworn with a flatter grain as is commonly seen with use. However inking, (edge sealent) displays rubbing and wear. There is also wear and loss to the inking at the flap sides, caused by the flexing of the sealent from the motion of the flap opening and closing and similary at the handle bases. The remainder of the inking is in place throughout.

Natural surface impressions to the rear of the top flap from the handle bases which results is an intensification of colour (or burnish). 

The shiny gold hardware is bright, with a few hairline scratches to the Postmans Lock Plate and numerous contact pits to the underside plate.

Webbed canvas straps are excellent and the interior, self lined in clean suede displaying flattening to the base area. There is a roomy zipped pocket, feature Heart badge and the lion head rivet.

The interior suede lining the top flap displays ruffling and a small mark, as shown.

A much lovelier bag in the flesh than a list of its wear makes it sound!
