This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Regular Lily in Oxblood Coloured Vegetable Tanned Leather with Shiny Gold Tone Hardware.

Crafted in England from a rich, burgundy coloured natural hide this regular (smaller sized) Lily is a beautiful example of a first generation piece in Mulberry's original, superior, natural vegetable dyed leather (NVT). 

A thick, robust hide with a very smooth and dense grain, it's a finish that camoflagues and blends scratches and scuffs as part of its inherent character, (ensuring it ages incredibly well).....and the rich colouration is nothing short of magnificent!

Promising oodles of character, gorgeous glossiness and fabulous suppleness with use, time and care, it's one of those pieces that reminds you why Mulberry became great.

Details -

A naturally supple silhouette, (see photo when empty), the form is more relaxed than the current design.

No wear, all corners and curves are perfect. The reason for the *notation is due to the surface impressions to the front RH side of the flap and top LH side of of the bag where the chain strap has rested in storage. The ones on the front RH side are barely there and will gradually lift with use however the ones to the top LH side appear as slightly darker in tone where the grain has been flattened and the dye 'compressed' within the finish. This burnishing will not lift or reduce with use.

Hardware is excellent throughout without any visible scratches to lockplates whatsoever.

All inking, (edge sealent) in plate and stitching tight.

Gentle ruffling to the suede lining of the interior's flap, the zipped side pocket is crafted from Mulberry Tree fabric.
