Chanel Classic Flap Clutch with Chain CWC in Coral Matte Caviar SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Chanel Classic Flap Clutch with Chain (CWC) in Coral Matte Caviar with Shiny Silver Hardware. 

The classic ‘Clutch with Chain’ is a curvy, single flap bag, much larger than the WOC (Wallet on a Chain) but slightly longer and less deep than the classic Medium flap. It has a handy, rear slip pocket and a short chain that can be tucked inside so you can carry as a generous clutch, (the chain can’t be doubled or worn cross-body,) and makes an ideal day to evening bag.

Elegant, simple and crafted from a soft finish, caviar textured, quilted, calfskin that feels divine in the hand, its firm, robust (so holds its shape well), yet with the perfect amount of give to ensure its not too hard or structured.

A somewhat chameleon colour, the shade is a muted orangey red, not quite salmon pink but definitely without any blue undertones.

A perfect 'first' Chanel at an amazing price point....and a bag you'll never worry about using.

Details -

No actual wear to the caviar, the finish has a naturally, almost brushed texture which appears very slighted faded around the flap edges and corner curves. 

Darkening to the surface of the quilt is present throught but is strangely almost imperceptible.....(see photo of front, flap's LH side edge above CC plaque,). A vintage piece it just has the feeling of age, vs dirt. Most visible around the rear pocket's top seam there is also a small, pale mark to the middle of the back pocket, (see zoomed photo above).

A cluster of black marks to the hide on the rear RH, lower side which extend to the side panel and similar cluster of marks to the LH side of the base. All shown in the close up photos above.

The front CC plaque and turnlock are excellent, bright, shiny and beautiful. Very slight dulling to the underside plate.

The leather in the shoulder strap displays darkening to its edges, again much less noticable than the close up photo makes this appear.

The interior is excellent. Lined in entirely clean, smooth, soft, glossy, calfskin with slip pocket.
