This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Limited Edition Small Amberley Satchel in Scarlet Red Shiny Croc Printed Calfskin complete with Chinese New Year Capsule Collection Maxi Twilly.

Released in very limited numbers to celebrate the 2019 Chinese Lunar New Year this rare to find smaller sized Amberley is crafted from a glossy, richly red toned, crocodile embossed calf hide.

Sleek lines and firm, structured silhouette, featuring equestrian-inspired detailing such as raw-edged construction & the signature Rider's Lock. Light to carry, easy to use and delivers heritage charm and modern design in perfect balance.

The accompaning Twilly, exclusively designed by Chinese artist Li Rui for the collaboration, depicts the traditional landscapes of ancient Chinese artworks.

 Details -

At first review this stunning piece looks brand new. Protective film intact, perfectly shaped, curves immaculate and no immediately visible wear. 

Only if you inspect the underside of the top handle can you note a few surface scratches and rubs to the finish, (see photos above.) Invisible in use and very minor.

Inking, (edge sealent) in place and stitching all strong however the reason for the * notation is due the over-tension of the stitches on the underside of the long shoulder strap. Caused during construction, the sewing machine's tension has been set too high by the craftsman and the resultant force at which the needle has penetrated the hide has caused the surface to fissure, as shown. Whilst the close up makes it look quite scary, it's actually a very commonly found feature on this leather type and doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way, (ie the splits don't enlarge or increase with use).

Lined in entirely clean, soft, oxblood suede, there is natural flattening to the nap of the suede on the top flap's lining, where it rests on the top aperture when closed.

Gentle surface creases to the Twilly. No pulls or issues. Please note the tiny black 'dots' in the pattern are part of the print, not spots or marks.
