Hermés Evelyne III GM in Etoupe Taurillon Clemence with Palladium Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Hermés Evelyne III GM in Etoupe Taurillon Clemence Leather with Palladium Silver Hardware.

The Evelyne was named after Évelyne Bertrand, who was the head of Hermès’s riding department. It was designed in 1978 to carry grooming equipment and was sold in stores alongside other equestrian goods. The perforated H was designed to enable air to enter the bag to dry the equipment.

This larger sized Evelyne III is made in one of the most coveted Hermes colors - Etoupe, a classic grey shade with a gentle-clay-green undertone.

Crafted from a soft and pliable clemence bull hide with white contrast stitching, perforated H icon to the front, rear pocket, pull tab top closure with snap closure at the rear, and a matching removable, adjustable canvas and leather shoulder / crossbody strap.

Iconic simplicity, lots of capacity and utterly beautiful.

Carried only once, the only evidence of use is an extremely light and small scratch* to the RH reverse of the bag. So vague and inconspicuous it's almost completely invisible!

Beautifully bright and shiny hardware, the base plate of the popper displays a little aging (completely unnoticable and doesn't affect the use of the piece in any way.)

A light impression to the canvas strap from where the buckle has been set and and very minor ruffling to the suede interior. All immaculate and As-New in every other way.
