This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Maggie Shoulder Tote in Teal Python Leather with Shiny Silver Hardware.

A rare, exotic, Collectors piece this amazing Maggie is hand crafted from real python skin in a glossy, jewelled turquoise shade.

A roomy, North South shape and slim, twin, concertina design, there's lots of space inside plus the front pocket section sealing with a multi-aperture, feature Postmans Lock. 

Angular buckles at the two side straps and the shoulder strap bases add to its modernist feel and the secure zipped top ensures all your belongings stay safe and sound.

Details -

Unused, just stored since purchase, the reason for the Condition Rating* is due to age-related factors and the intrinsic nature of Python leather.

A natural snakeskin with beautiful tonal variations, it's carefully dyed to preserve the subtle pattern and shading of the organic hide. Polished to a high gloss, it's inevitable that the scales show movement, especially to areas where the leather curves and flexes. Scale edges naturally gently curl upwards to reveal the tonal leather beneath, (an inherent feature of real snakeskin), which brings an incredible depth to the leather and forms part of its character. Without doubt a very delicate material, as friction with use will accelerate the wearing process, however, it's the price to be paid for such an exclusive finish.

Well shaped, the silhouette is upright but supple, though has been stored in its Presentation Box with shoulder straps folded so they will flop down when not held or on the shoulder.

All stitching is tight, inking, (edge sealent) in place and hardware shiny, (protective film remains in place on base plate and rear of lockplate.).

A couple of small spots of stray inking to the rear, RH side's horizontal belt strap can be noted, present from construction.

The adhesive (glue)* used by the craftsman has discoloured due to age, at the rear joins of the four handle bases and to the vertical joins on the top aperture, behind them. Completely concealed in use, (as all the areas cover each other,) this residue may be removable by a professional resoration agency.

All lined in soft, grainy, black calfskin nappa leather with a full depth zipped pocket and slip pocket.

Made in Label not present, (most likely to have been crafted in Spain, in 2008.)
