This is a 100% authentic Givenchy Medium Antigona in Black Box Calfskin with Shiny Silver Hardware

The perfect combination of edgy cool and contemporary classic, the Antigona name was inspired by the Greek goddess, Antigone, which means "unbending". Called the Medium (but a very sizable bag, in my view!) this beautifully structured piece is crafted from a firm, finely grained, high shine Box calfskin.

A statuesque silhouette, (with almost Statement Piece impact), the angular lines evoke an androgynous edge whilst the gentle curves bring a more feminine feel......the design is most definitely non-binary.

The early version (2015) with a non-removable shoulder strap, it's in an incredible condition for its age and priced only due to the slight dulling to the hardware.

Details -

Perfect form, the leather is entirely colour consistent, super smooth and glossy with one barely-there, natural vein to the finish on the front, LH side (an inherent feature of the hide,) and a couple of small surface impressions to the foot patch on the RH side of the base.

No immediately visible wear, it's only on the closest of inspections can you note the lightest surface rub to the front, LH corner curve, a very small, light hairline surface scratch to the rear, top handle and a extremely slight, vertical scratch to the front, RH side's handle base. All shown in the close up photos above.

The reason for the *notation is due to the minor dulling to the silver tone hardware. A material called 'Zamac' it's a alloy with a base metal of zinc and elements of aluminium, magnesium and copper giving it superb resistance to wear. No oxidisation or tarnish spots and a material that polishes very well. 

Lined in clean, thick linen-cotton twill with a full depth zipped pocket, slip pocket and elasticated slip section.

Made in Italy.
