Mulberry Medium Effie Satchel in Black Spongy Pebbled Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Effie Satchel (regular sized) in Black Spongy Pebbled Leather with Pale, Brushed Golden Brass Hardware.

A relaxed take on the classic hobo-satchel design, with a supple, slouching shape and simple flap-over style, the Effie satchel is effortlessly casual.

Crafted from a soft and squidgy, evenly but deeply grained hide, with a gentle gloss and that lovely padded texture you get with a nice Spongy finish.

Wear the top handle or longer strap on the shoulder, (both are detachable so you add in a messenger strap if you want to wear cross body), its easy to use and an utter joy to carry.

Details - 

Though it's rare for the Nest to rehome a Well Loved piece this fabulous Effie has been carried extensively but cared for exceptionally well and is even more beautiful for the use she's received.

A deep, consistent black, she's well softened and smooshy (though not completely structureless,) and has developed the commonly seen horizontal crease along her lower rear.

No wear to the leather whatsoever. No marks, scuffs, scratches.......just copious creases, character and lots of luscious large, pebbly graining. Gorgeous!!!

All stitching strong and inking, (edge sealent) in place throughout with wear and flex cracking to the D ring loops and the top outer aperture sides, (much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photos makes it appear.)

Flat, plaited top handle and shoulder strap are excellent.

Lined in clean, black Mulberry tree jacquard cotton with a leather trimmed slip pocket and zip section.

The top of the flap is lined in soft, ruffled, black suede displaying natural flattening around the edge areas.
