This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Chester in Black Textured Goat Leather with Golden Brass Hardware.

 A sleek, stylish, semi structured, concertina style tote crafted from a beautifully textured and extra robust Chester goatskin trimmed with smooth, finely grained calf leather.

Also named the 'Chester,' it's a solid yet still pliable construction and a seriously substantial, craftsman made piece that will forever hold its shape.

Smart enough to use as a formal, but feminine, briefcase it comprises of three sections, the middle being zip top secured and the outer two having three poppers to close.

Carry by way of the top handles or wear on the shoulder with the popper adustable shoulder strap, its a sartorially elegant and practical piece.

Though not perfect, this fabulous Mulberry is still incredibly handsome.

Entirely structurally intact with years of service left to give, its a bag you can use without worry, knowing it will only improve with use and care.

Without close inspection it looks Very Good. Well shaped, colour consistent and without immediately visable wear. Stitching all strong, base corners without wear, (any white marks in the photo are purely light reflections) and the brushed golden hardware only displays minor surface scratching which blends nicely with the natural finish.

On more detailed review you can note a number of surface scuffs, scratches and impressions to the smooth leather trims and panels of the bag. Two light scratches to the grainy goatskin hide on the lower front, these are completely concealed by the texure of the hide.

Inking (edge sealent) is in place with surface impressions to the outer, top seams of the bag where the top handle's metalware rests when the straps lay downward. Small flex cracks to the outer sides of the flaps, inevitable from the motion of the outer pockets, this is a common feature of the design and does not affect the use of the piece in any way.

Fully lined in clean nappa leather displaying numerous impressions, fingernail scuffs and general use. No detriment or issue, just part and parcel of a gently used piece.

The main reason for the Condition Rating is due to the little kitty teeth, pin pricks to the two, leather zip pulls where a naughty feline has decided to have a chomp!
