This is a 100% authentic Hermés Chale Shawl Square Scarf GM 'Zebra Pegasus' in Rose Vif, Marine, Ivoire 65% Cashmere & 35% Silk 

An incredibly beautiful colourway, this extra large, 140cm square shawl will add a fabulous PoP of colour to any outfit.

Indicated to have been a Staff Purchase by the small, pink 'X' stamp contained within a square. Completely inconspicuous, you'd never see this unless you knew where to look!

 DESIGN HISTORY:
Designed by Alice Shirley, a graduate of the Central Saint Martins College of Art and The Prince’s Drawing School in London, her pieces often reflect collaborations with the city’s Natural History Museum. Fascinated by the myth of Pegasus, and the famously untameable African zebra, she reinvents the classical legend, transporting it to southern Africa. The celestial mount of Zeus brought forth the fountain of the Muses with a kick of his hoof, and was turned into a constellation by the king of the gods. Here, he swaps his immaculate white coat for the two-tone pattern of his close equine cousins. Completing this highly original portrait, his magnificent wings turn flaming orange, echoing the plumage of African parrots.

Light linear creases from storage, there is the very slightest surface pilling (not bobbling) from use.

No pulls, tufts, ladders, aroma and rolled, stitched edging is plump and immaculate. The weave and print is entirely perfect.
