 This is a 100% authentic Saint Laurent YSL Monogram Medium Loulou in Taupe Quilted Matelassé Calfskin with Antiqued Brass Hardware.

 Large & luscious, (YSL are always so generous with their sizing,) this medium Loulou is crafted from a beautiful, mink toned, chevron quilted calfskin.

Soft and silky to the touch, its not a structured piece but stands perfectly empty and there's plenty of capacity inside for everyday.

Divided into three sections, the middle being zip secured and the top flap seals by way of a self locating popper.

Details -

The only evidence of use to the exterior is a few, tiny, surface dinks to the centre of the YSL plaque, where it's contacted with the chain.

A natural, diagonal surface crease to the LH side of the flap and a very shallow, twin surface impression to the rear, upper RH side where it's rested on the chain in storage, the leather is colour consistent and initially appears entirely without wear. Corners, flap curves and apex of the front flap are As-New, however there is an extremely small catch* to the RH edge of the flaps edge, (location circled and shown with the zoom.) Almost invisible to the naked eye. 

All stitching tight, inking, (edge sealent) in place and shoulder strap is excellent.

Lined in clean black grossgrain, there is a light graze and surface impression to the smooth leather trim of the back wall's RH side where the embossed zip pull has rested. A small surface catch* can be noted on the LH side of the interior's back aperture trim, location circled and shown with the zoom. Much less noticable in use, this doesn't affect the piece in any way, however has been reflected in the price.
