This is an Unused, 100% authentic Hermés Jige Elan 29 Clutch in Glycine Veau Swift Calfskin.

Crafted from a beautifully matte, dusky, rose-mauve toned calfskin with a subtle, powder grey undertone, it's quite literally breathtaking.

As at home in the day as at night......the perfect example of Hermés at its finest.

"The story behind - A wedding gift from Jean Guerrand, Émile Hermès’ son-in-law, to one of his future daughters-in-law, this day-to-night clutch has a full-grained leather H heart. Named after the initials of its inventor, the Jige has been, since 1975, a symbol of union of love, as illustrated by its delicate, pared-down H clasp. 

Swift calfskin - This extremely supple, sophisticated leather is named after Jonathan Swift, the author of Gulliver's Travels, to highlight its resemblance to Gulliver calfskin, which is no longer featured in today's collections. First appeared in the collections: 2004 Appearance: Almost smooth with a delicate shine; lightly marked grain that is sometimes hardly noticeable Feel: Soft and tender Hand: Supple and generous Change over time: Becomes even more supple". Hermés.com

Unused and utterly divine, there is the vaguest, (literally barely there) surface impression to the upper RH front and LH rear where the strings of the Hermés dustbag have rested on the hide whilst in the box. 

All photos are taken of the piece when empty, it holds it's shape perfectly and has the most amazing and luxurious hand-feel.

An extremely slight, natural flattening to the surface of the grain of the swift leather on the front, middle on the push through tab (where it contacts with the H closure). This is a part of the construction of the design, (present from New.)
