Louis Vuitton Pochette Métis in in Monogram - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Pochette Métis in Monogram Canvas and Vachette Calfskin with Golden Brass Hardware.

 A concertina, satchel style, the tri compartment (plus slip section) Pochette Métis is an organisers delight.

Deceptively spacious with a zipped pocket to the reverse of the bag, it's one of those wonderfully robust bags you'll never need to baby.

Details -

The monogram canvas is excellent throughout. Supple, strong and the silhouette only gently softened, (see photo standing empty). Motifs all precise, without rubbing and corners and curves entirely unworn.

Stitching tight and strong, there are gentle, natural, surface undulations on each side of the inside lining of the top flap, at the points where the top handle attaches from above. (This is an entirely normal part of the construction of these pieces.)

The edging (inking sealent or 'bonding' applied to the edges of the piece) is all entirely intact.

The vachette calfskin top handle has acquired a little gentle patina to it's top and there is an extremely light scuff to the LH side of the front S Lock's vachette tab, (see close up photo above.)

The engraved S Lock's lockplate and underside plate displays only light hairline scratches, however, as is common with use, the base plate has acquired numerous contact scratches, (which is the main reason this piece hasn't achieved a sole Excellent condition rating.) Much less visible to the naked eye than the close up photos makes this appear.

Shoulder strap is firm, well shaped and in an excellent condition with only light contact scratching to the inner curves of the snap hooks from attachment to the D rings.

The interior is lined in entirely clean, dark chocolate microfibre.
