Hermès Massai GM 32cm in Bleu de Malte Clemence with Palladium Hardware - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Hermès Massai GM 32cm in Bleu de Malte Clemence Leather with Brushed Palladium Hardware.

A slim, North South sling hobo bag with twin zipped top, crafted from a finely grained bull hide in an elegant, deep, midnight-blue navy shade. 

Sleek, simple and understated.... it's a bag that screams quality without shouting labels.

Wear moulded to your side on the shoulder, it also looks amazing when folded over and tucked under the arm as an oversized clutch.

It may be classed as a 'vintage' design but its curvy lines and architectural styling ensures its feels both contemporary and timeless.

 Details -

A supple design with a nicely evenly grained, small pebbled hide, (think closer to the more recent Evergrain than a large grained Taurillon), its in a superb condition throughout.

One previous owner who barely carried her, there are a few of the lightest, fingernail scuffs to the surface of the leather, only visible if you angle to view.

No wear to corners or curves, just two tiny scratches as shown with the zoom. One is to the rear, LH side's aperture trim and the other a dot just below the leather join on the top LH side apex point. Neither visible without the closest of inspections.

The matte finish Palladium silver hardware is is excellent, all stitching strong and inking (edge sealant) in place with very minor ageing around the looped sides of the two top zip pulls.

The shoulder strap is excellent, displaying only linear impressions where the buckles have been set.

The herringbone textile lined interior is entirely clean, with side zipped pocket.

The main reason for the Condition Rating and the *notation is due to the very slight aroma to the piece. Not perfumed, musty, stored or vintage.... my first thought that it may be cigarette smoke however it's so light and hard to indentify, (and doesn't quite smell like tobacco), I am almost at a loss to describe it!

On continued 'sniffing' and the absolute confirmation from the owner that the piece is not from a smoking environment I am leaning towards it being simply a natural ageing to the leather or perhaps the absorbtion of a household aroma. However being very sensitive to smell myself I know it's an important factor in buying decisions so please do consider purchasing via the Bank Transfer option if you'd like the option to Return the piece without incurring any fee's.
