Mulberry Bayswater in Oxblood Grained Vegetable Tanned Leather - SOLD

This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Bayswater in Oxblood Grained Vegetable Tanned Leather (GVT) with Shiny Gold Hardware.

The classic Bayswater crafted from a thick, grainy textured and nicely firm hide.

A structured silhouette but not hard sided, it softens gently with use but never becomes slouchy, so ideal if you prefer your bags to maintain more of an upright shape.

A rich burgundy shade with a gentle gloss, GVT has an even but pronounced, more pebbly grain than 'Small Classic Grain' and acquires character as it ages.

Details -

Without immediately noticable wear, there is a slight undulation in the form of the front, lower LH side and an extremely light surface scratch to the LH side front shoulder strap, (easily remedied with the application of matching colour Colonnil cream,) 

The Postmans Lock Plate is bright and shiny with a number of light hairline scratches. The underside plate displays minor contact pitting and dulling from resting against the base plate.

All stitching is tight, inking (edge sealent) in place and without wear and the interior microfibre lining is clean, displaying only a few light marks to the base area.

The main reason for the Condition Rating and *notation is due to the scuffing to the piping trims and curves around the base corner areas. Shown in detail above, these are much less noticable to the naked eye than the close up photos make them appear..
