 Stored carefully since purchase, protective film on front CC plaque and all cards and packaging in place, (only removed and replaced for inspection and photos.)

The only reason for the *notation is the tiny, pale dot to the smooth calfskin interiors' card slot. Location circled and shown with the zoom, this has been present from construction and is part of the make up of the finish.
