This is a 100% authentic Mulberry Classic Bayswater in Oak Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather (GVT) with Shiny Golden Brass Hardware.

Crafted from an evenly pebbled & gently glossy GVT hide, (a finish now unavailable from Mulberry direct), in a deep, dark, toffee-oak shade.

A robust leather with a larger, more pronounced grain than the current Small Classic Grain, it's thicker, firmer & acquires more character as it ages.

A semi- structured silhouette, but not hard sided, it will soften gently with use but never become fully slouchy, so ideal if you prefer your bags to maintain their shape.

Carried only a handful of times, this beautiful Bays initially appears almost As New.

Protective film in place on Postmans Lock Plate, it's well shaped with just some very slight, natural creasing to the hide on the rear LH side, (location circled).

Shoulder straps stand upright with a slight forward lean when the bag is empty, all stitching is tight, inking in place and there are only light, natural, surface impressions to the top of the flap from the handle base inserts.

Only when you turn the bag upside down to inspect the base closely can you note a couple of small catches* to the leather on the RH side's piping trim and a smattering of miniscule dot scuffs to the side panel, (all locations circled). In the magnified photo above it looks scary but to the naked eye they are all barely there!

 Light, friction scratches to the underside plate from contacting with the base plate, it's fully lined in pristine microfibre with two slip pockets and zip section.
