This is a 100% authentic, Louis Vuitton Mabillon Messenger Shoulder Bag in Monogram Canvas with Calfskin Vachette Trims and Golden Brass Hardware.

Light, practical & carefree, the Mabillon is everything you could want from a bag.

A slim, yet curvy, hobo silhouette with zipped top, front slip pocket & prestud sealed, envelope flap pocket, it's roomy, robust & crafted from a fabulously thick canvas from 2016.

Details -

A gently rounded design, the form is soft sided but it holds its shape well.

The monogram canvas is in excellent condition throughout. Clean, substantial, grainy and entirely without wear, marks or rubs.

The vachetta is gently honeyed, (not darkened) with a light dual 'sit' mark on the strap where the buckle has been set and a small dark spot, as shown in the photos above.

The inking (edge sealent) to the strap (called 'red'on these pieces due to the colour) displays, natural drying around the strap loops.

The calfskin leather to the strap itself is clean, unsoftened and without wear.

Wear and drying to the 'red' on the edges ot the two side panel vachette trims. Purely decorative, these strips display a little creasing and uneveness in form. Much less noticable than the close up photos make this appear.

Stitching is all strong and hardware very good with dulling and silvery paling only the the base plate of the top zip header and corresponding curved inner loop of the embossed zip pull where it attaches.

Light surface scratches to the front, flat, embossed popper and engraved zip pulls, again much less visible than the close ups make them appear.

The interior is fully lined in entirely clean, damson plum textile, (the round white mark in the photos is purely a light reflection).
