This is a 100% authentic Dior X Raymond Pettibon Limited Edition Oblique Saddle Crossbody Bag with Shiny Silver & Black Ultramatte Hardware.

Dior’s most iconic design. First introduced in 1999 by then Creative Director John Galliano and relaunced in Fall / Winter 2018 by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the timeless, signature DIOR jacquard Saddle is so instantly recognisable. 

This Limited Edition masterpiece, designed by counter-culture artist Raymond Pettibon, (renowned for his driping ink illustrations) fuses the classic silhouette with his distinctive artistic vision. Literally, a wearable work of contemporary art!

Please note though it looks feasible to wear as a belt or bum bag, the shape isn't designed for this purpose and doesn't sit neatly in a horizontal position.

Condition - Very Good to Excellent

Details -

Without close inspection this stunning bag appears nearly new. Carried only twice, as is invitable from first use the weave of the blue Dior jacquard texile shows gentle, natural movement. No wear, just the natural ruffling to the surface and a couple of tiny tufts, (these are often present from construction.) No pulls, detriment or issues of any kind, this is an entirely normal feature of the material.

The white, textural overlay is As-New throughout, all stitching tight and the silky webbed strap displays only the lightest surface ruffling from contact.

A semi structured silhouette, it's well shaped with just a slight curl to the two, black, pebbled leather straps, at the front of the bag.

The rolled leather trims around the edges of the bag are crafted from a smoother, black calfskin with a slightly distressed grain which camouflagues the light wear to the top LH curve and LH bases' corner curve completely. Only visible with the zoom in the photos above, this is undetectable to the naked eye!

A dot of age-related glue discolouration (from construction,) to the inner, lower LH side of the zip aperture, the main reason this piece hasn't achieved a sole Excellent condition rating is due to the small dinks and scratches to the straps' closure metalware, as shown.
