Mulberry Medium Effie 'Big Tree' Satchel in Oak Spongy Pebbled Leather - SOLD

This is an Unused, 100% authentic Mulberry Effie Satchel (the Big Tree embossed version,) in Oak Spongy Pebbled Leather with Brushed Golden Brass Hardware.

Now so sadly discontinued, the last RRP was £695, (see small tree version from Mulberry preloved here.)

A relaxed take on a classic satchel design, with a super slouchy shape and simple flap-over style, the medium sized Effie satchel is an ideal everyday bag, (and great for travel as packs completely flat.)

Crafted from an incredibly soft, tactile, pebbly textured hide, (note the different size of grain to the rear of the bag, details below) the top flap is as velvety strokeable as a pair of Spaniel's ears and the colour a lovely warm cinnamon shade.

Effortless to wear, carry by the plait feature top handle, or on the shoulder or crossbody....it's so incredibly supple it will mould to your side perfectly in use.

Details- 

Never carried, it has been stored with the plait feature top handle attached so there are a few tiny, contact scratches to the base area of the D rings.

Protective film not present on the magnetic snap closure, the base displays contact scratching, (though much less visible than the close up photos makes this appear.)

As is sometimes found on these pieces, this beautiful Effie has been constructed with two different batches of Spongy Pebbled hide. The rear of the bag has a slightly larger grain and creasier consistency than the rest but don't let this deter you....it's actually fabulous!

Please note the smooth leather used for the two side trims on the bag, the plait handle and the long shoulder strap is a firm hide called 'Harness' leather. This has a more rigid composition and a raw, purposefully unfinished underside. There are entirely normal tonal variations in the colouration of this hide which form an inherent feature of the leather type and not a fault.

Lined in pristine cream, linen cotton with a leather trimmed slip pocket and zip section. As is common with this design the imprint of the large Mulberry Tree embossing can be seen on the dark, chocolate suede lined underside of the flap.
